When you replace your roof, it’s reasonable for you to assume that the shingles will last around what the manufacturer warranty states. If you had a 35 year asphalt composite architectural shingle installed, then common sense dictates the roof should last around 35 years. That is assuming, of course, that it doesn’t get hammered from a hail storm.
